Rendezvous Steak Garden @ Kampung Pandan

Saturday, April 25, 2015
Decided to blog about this place since I couldn't find a more updated blog regarding the price of the foods & drinks.
But first, forgive my photo quality as I was in a rush to blog.

So, here's a quick look of the place. (Didn't really walk around because it was my dad's birthday)

The seats on the right side
The seats at the left side nearby the entrance
Basically I would say that this steak garden is very spacious. Wouldn't need to worry about not having place to sit (So far I haven't encounter such problem)
What I took was just a part of it. You may refer to other blogger's for their environment shots as there isn't much changes about the place.

What we ordered.
Here is the famous Escargot that people have been saying about.
Price at RM15.80 for 1/2 Dozen (6 Pieces)
Sizzling Black Pepper Chicken at RM 17.80
Fish & Chip at RM 14.80
Fruit Juice Large size at RM 12.80/RM13.80. (There's also a smaller size of juice at RM8.80).
Fondue Cheese Chicken RM 18.80
Sizzling Chicken Combo at RM 20.80

My honest review, overall everything of the food is okay. But the Fish and Chip portion was kinda small?
And also, I don't really like the cheese (Note: I'm a cheese lover), It taste quite salty for me.
But my sister and mum likes it. So different people has difference preference.

Service wasn't that bad, unlike stated in Facebook.
It's just that because the place is spacious, you need some patience to call the waiter/waitress to your table.
No service charge was implemented here. Just GST at 6%.
You may use credit card only if you overall bill exceed RM50.

The steak house is just beside Caffeinees, which is the shop before you turn in to Caffeinees.
Parking is free, and there's lot of parking lot.
Just be aware of which turning as you might missed out the entrance.

Ecole P, Damansara Uptown

Friday, April 17, 2015
It's my second time visiting Ecole P @ Damansara Uptown.
To be honest, I don't really like it during my first visit last year (2014)
However I decided to drop by because I heard that they've change the menu somewhere mid of 2014 and improved (that's what my friends says).

The thing that attracted me into this place was because of the well-played school theme, which helps reminisce the old sweet time when all of us are still in school.

View from the inside of the cafe (with 4 tables)

There's also candy/junk food selling at this section.
Not those typical stuff you can find at this era.

This is the drink menu with lots of unique names.
Use to be inconvenient for us because we got to stand at the counter looking at this to order our drink.
But now they provide us with drink menu. YEAH!

For those who smokes, and prefer natural lighting (for Instagram purpose) fret not there's an outdoor sitting.
This is how it look like from the outside, (with tables and chair of course)

So, I was sitting inside because it was hot today.
The lighting wasn't that good (Forgive me for the photo quality, tried to edit but still sigh). There was this table which is right beside the window but was taken by someone else.

These notebooks are the food and drink menu.
Utensil is inside a pencil case which is hidden in a bag (which is located by the side of the table)
Cold drinks are served in this.
While coffees will be served like those typical kopitiam coffee cup.
My typical Instagram shot (Follow me @michellectting)
Customers will also be given complimentary old school snacks, which we almost eat finish.
Baked Egg (RM 14.90)
This baked egg taste different than the usual typical ones.
There was chicken/pork  (not sure) in it, plus there's also century egg.
Fruit Ninja (RM 14.90)
The Egg Waffle with Kapati vanilla ice cream, strawberry sauce and fruits of green apple, orange and strawberry.
It's quite soggy for me, might be due to the sauce

Overall, it could say that the food is okay. Way better than my first visit.
Food price wise is also affordable, price range not more than RM 14.90 if I'm not wrong.
Plus there's also lunch set menu.
Service charge of 5%.
Parking might be hectic if you choose to park beside the roads. Try parking at the new basement parking, price at RM 1 at first hour, RM 1.50 at every subsequent hour which I find it cheaper than other Uptown parking building.
