Photo Crafts @ Kota Damansara (Closed)

Friday, October 4, 2013
Recently, I had heard a lot about Photo Crafts from people around me.
It is a unique shop which has two floor, with one floor is a cafe and the other floor is the photography section which sell analogues camera, films, and other accessories.
But I'd heard that it's just recently that they've decided to open up the cafe in the shop.
Previously had the intention to visit it shop, and finally I've drop a visit there today for lunch.
Trust me, you will definitely love the environment there ! :)

The attracting stairway to the cafe.
So, this is their first floor.

If you own a Analogue Camera, then Thursday will be your lucky day !
Because, it's Photo Crafts Analogue Coffee Kaw Kaw Day.
Just bring your Analogue Camera and visit the shop from 5pm-10pm and you'll get free flow coffee at RM9.90 ! Good deal isn't ? :)

Iced Cappuccino @ RM8.90
Strong cappuccino they have, do ask for Sugar Syrup if you can't take the strongness.
Hot Mocha @ RM8.90.
They even give the biscuit in camera form ! :)
But it taste more like chocolate than a real Mocha.
Tomyam Seafood Fettucine @ RM 16.90
I know it stated there seafood, but because they're out of prawns so they replace tit with more mussels.
It's an Italian mix Asian cuisine. Definitely a must to try it !
Smoked Salmon Carbonara @ RM12.90.
The carbonara taste is just right for me, not too cheesy, not to filling.
and even the smoke salmon taste fresh.
DIY breakfast @ RM15.90
You can choose from Scramble Eggs or Fried Egg, and Chicken Ham, Beef bacon, or Chicken Sausage, and Mushrooms or Bakes Beans.
120 Chicken Burger @ RM16.90.
Among the four food that I've order, this came the last which I don't know why it took so long.
But I saw the owner/waitress really passionate to decorate the burger accordingly.
And yesh this taste superb ! The mash potato is yum yum :9
Worth it because it not only taste nice, it make me super full as well !
* For your information, I came with three other people so yeah, it's not me eating everything of it.

After eating, we went up to the second floor to have a look.

Don't you love it here ? :)
And there's this boxes of props to play with up here.
3 boxes, with three different faces on the different surface.
I've seen many people play with it, so why not have a try ?

(I only post these photos as it is not showing their faces, so yeah ~)

If you like a place to chill with, or to do your assignment in a quite environment, why not visit here ?
The services is not bad, and they don't charge any service charge or government tax.
Price is reasonable as well ranged from RM5-RM20, and they have outdoor seating for smokers as well.

D'Dream Cafe 又多一梦 @ SS2, PJ (Shifted)

Saturday, September 28, 2013
If you're a Doraemon fan, you definitely have to visit this shop at SS2 which is called as D'Dream Cafe.
I can say that it's consider as a new shop, which just open on April this year.
D'Dream Cafe's speciality is the Taiwan cuisine.
(P.s Sorry of the bad quality of the photos, it was taken with iPad and the room lightning isn't that good)

As you see, there are many Doraemon stuff in this shop (I've only taken some photo of it.)
But they are not for sale. They're the cafe boss's collection ! :O
Where else the photo below is the only item which is for sales in the shop, located beside of the counter.
Doraemon's apron, Tupperware, Stickers, Wrapper, Biscuits, etc
Fancy, isn't ?

I find it's quite important to post some photo of the menu to help other's to do some referencing when they're about to visit a shop, to check out the price range of the shop food and stuff like that (Because I'll always do the research, and sometimes I can't find any of those)
So, I've decided from now onwards, I'll post the menu on my post :)

As you can see from the menu above, the price is quite reasonable.
and this is the reason why this shop is often visited by lot of teenagers.

Crispy Fish Fillet Ramen, cost RM 7.50
Dry Crispy Chicken Ramen, cost RM7.50
(Chef's Recommendation)
Taiwan Chicken Mi Sua, RM7
Dad say it taste like Taiwan's Mi Sua.
Popcorn Chicken Rice, RM 7.50
(Chef's Recommendation)
Braised Pork Ramen, RM7.50
They have a selection of pork, or beef.
The snacks, Golden French Fries at RM5 (which taste like Taiwan's)
and Taiwan Fried Dumplings, RM8
Snacks :  Golden QQ Ball, RM 6.
(This taste like Fong Lye's sweet potatop ball)
Everything is acceptable.
The food is okay. Dad and bro say it taste like Taiwan's food.
The service is not bad too. You can book a VIP room which you need to spend at least RM200 for the room and also a Tatami area which doesn't need any minimum spending for 5-6 people for celebration.
The environment is nice, not only the whole shop is full of Doraemon stuff, even the music is Doraemon's song.
Definitely a place for Doraemon lover ! :)

So, this will be the other Taiwan cuisine shop to add in into your list other than Little Taiwan, Shihlin and also Fong Lye.
and oh yah ! They also charged service tax of 10%.

Seoulscape Bistro, The Strand Kota Damansara (Closed)

Friday, August 30, 2013
Fancy of Korean food but having some budget problem yet wants to have something like pot luck to share with everyone ?
Then try visit Seoulscape located at the Strand, Kota Damansara.

Seoulscape is another restaurant which decorate their restaurant based on Kpop culture.
Kpop lover will definitely love this place. This shop also sells Kpop stuff such as calendar, albums, poster, etc.

Heard that this restaurant also serve lunch set at RM9.90, from 12-3pm which comes with Korean Tea and Dessert. and also dinner set with 25% if I'm not mistaken.
But my intention of visiting this shop is not for the lunch set but for the Rice Cake Stew Set which is also known as Jea-Suk Ttebokki.
PS : You have to personally ordered it or snap the photo of it and show it to the owner since this Rice Cake Stew wasn't show at the menu which I don't really know why.
This is the side dishes they provided whenever you called the Rice Cake Stew Set.
From top clockwise : Peanut and anchovies, Kimchi and Sweet Potato which taste like crackers.
Rice Cake Stew, before.
As you can see, it contain crabsticks, clams, some fishball, hard-boiled egg and the main is rice cake. (Suppose to have sausages as well, but I don't know why isn't there any of it)
This is how it look like after it was done.
Oh yah, you might realise the Ramyeon in the pot.
This Rice Cake Stew also includes one Ramyeon and two bowl of rice.
The function of the rice is to eat it after the broth is left a bit. Something like Japanese Curry Rice concept.
At first, the spiciness of the broth was acceptable but the longer it was boiled with the fire on, the broth became thick and the spiciness level increase.
However, you can request for a refill for your Tea and it's for free :)

The price is really very reasonable as I am a student and bringing my siblings for lunch.
It is only RM30 for 2-3pax, and RM50 for 4-5pax.
For 2-3pax, the size of the pot will be like the above. With additional of one Ramyeon, and two bowl of rice.
Where else for 4-5pax, the pot will be bigger I believe, with additional of two ramyeon and four bowl of rice.

Highly recommend this to everybody out there !
And the service was superb, I just love the manager there. I seldom blog nowadays but my little bro request me to blog about this restaurant as he love the service and food there.
So why not drop by and have a try ? :)

Ten28ight Boutique Cafe @ Sri Hartamas

Thursday, July 18, 2013
Visited Ten28ight Boutique Cafe at Sri Hartamas yesterday for Hi-tea with my girls.
I always love having afternoon hi-tea.
Lucky me, I've got this voucher from Groupon.
Instead of RM114.90 for four person, I only used RM52 for the Cakes, Macarons, Tarts, Pastry, Coffee / Tea, and More :)

The afternoon Tea Set
From the first tray : Cheese Tarts and Fruit Tarts.
I normally dislike eating Cheese cakes/tarts as the cheese taste is too strong, but this tart taste just right and I love it ! :)
From the second tray : Parfaits and Macaroon.
From the third tray: Quiche, Curry puff, Samosa.
I love the Samosa, taste like otak-otak ! Slurp !
We also got to choose two slices of cakes from Mille crepe, Mango Cheese Cake, Banana peanut butter cake, Chocolate Moist Cake and  Almond praline.
Because we're not a fan of cheese and mille creepe, we took this cakes !

Almond praline.
My first time having this type of cake, and it was awesome, really !
Chocolate Moist Cake.
Overall, the food is nice. The services is too, the bosses kept coming to our table and ask whether is everything alright and does we need anything else.
Environment pun okay, but I didn't got the time to go around as the floor upstairs was close.
But I heard the decoration upstairs was awesome.
Anyway, Ten28ight Boutique Cafe does not only serve afternoon hi-tea.
You can drop by for lunch as well, saw the board yesterday saying lunch set is from RM9.90 :)

Gangnam88 @ Solaris Mont Kiara

Sunday, July 14, 2013
My second time here (and my second post regarding Gangnam88) and I still think it worth the visit !
You'll definitely love the environment and service here.
Besides, this shop is always full of Koreans :) But be sure to come during lunch hour.
The sets/food are cheaper during lunch hour compare to dinner time.

Galbi/Pork BBQ (RM25) with rice.
The signature dish and my family's favorite.
The chicken are serve with some sweet sauce which people will definitely fall in love with.

Dosirak (RM17)
Which is also known as Horse Dancing Lunch Box. My favorite of all !
This is the outcome after shaking. Wanted to take a photo before shaking, but the waiter just automatically shakes it without asking me :(
Samgyeop (RM25)
Basically the BBQ one is nicer. This dish taste bit plain, tasteless.
And it come with rice fyi.
Kimchi Rice (RM20)
This dish is spicy. So if you're not someone who usually take spicy food, this is not recommended.
Comes with steam egg and soup.
The main dishes that we ordered.
The whole dishes with side dishes that we ordered.
FYI, the side dishes is refillable.
Cute spoons.
This spoon was used when drinking coffee and eating Korean Ice Kacang.
Sorry for the blur photo. Can't focus much.
