Late Dinner at Paddington Garden @ Sunway Giza

Wednesday, May 22, 2013
Had a late dinner with my pretty little junior last Friday after meeting up with her assistant manager for this week replacement job.
We actually wanted to go to Coffee Chemistry Cafe at Sunway Giza, but the thing is we didn't know it was closed since last year :(
Then we decided to go to Coffee Famille at Sunsuria Avenue since Kei wanted something light for dinner.
Unfortunately again, it was closed.
From my cousin, she told me that Coffee Famille closed at 7pm and not 10pm anymore. Which is another sad case.
Too tired to find for food, we finally gave up and search around Sunway Giza that area.
Decided to go for Tokyo Pastry Cafe. But then again, they told us their kitchen is closed. Which make us kinda frustrated.

So we finally gave in and search for food in Sunway Giza mall.
Surprisingly, Paddington Pancake cafe was there.
What I mean was previously there wasn't any Paddington Pancake cafe and now its opened at here.
And the good thing is, the day we went was the day it first open for business.
So, we was entitled for a 10% :)
The Mocha @ RM 7.90
I love the effect I put In this photo :)
My food: Curry Fried Chicken Cutlet Sandwich for RM16.90
It taste delicious, seriously :)
Kei's Food: Vegetable, Tuna & Egg Pancake Sandwich for RM16.90
Although I don't like how the concept of mixing tuna and pancakes, but this actually taste nice
I was really satisfy with the food. It's really up to the expectation.
And it is very big portion, we are definitely extremely full to the limit.
They gave a good service. I don't know is it because it was the first day or what, but it was just good :)

Lunch @ Crayon Burger, Subang SS15

Thursday, May 16, 2013
Went to Subang Jaya today with my sister and cousin brother to try out the Crayon Burgers which is famous for the colourful patty buns.
We really purposely went all the way there for the burgers.
Found out that there are a lot of others shop which offered nice attracting foods and desserts.
Totally like a food and dessert heaven over there. Shall come back again one day for the foods ~

Didn't take much photo of the environment there as I'm shy :X
Here is a photo of how the shop look like.
Credit to Shannon
Here is the look of the menu.
This menu is located right beside the counter.
Credit again to Shannon
This is one of the painting in the shop which is right beside me only :)
You can spot some cute cartoon character in it.
Eg, Doraemon, Pikachu, Patrick the Star etc.

We order a Cheese Fondue, and two Double rainbow burger.
It cost us around RM60++, but because we have student card, there will be a deduction of 10%, which then only cost us RM50++.
You just need to add another RM5 to add a set of fries and refillable drinks :)
This is the Cheese Fondue Chicken burger @ RM15.50
The beef burger also cost the same as the chicken.
It consists of corn chips and sharp cheddar.
The two burger above is the Double Rainbow Chicken Burger, cost RM16.
For the beef burger it will cost RM18.
It is special as it has two patty in it.
Although the colours of the burger bun make it look special, but honestly speaking it wasn't that delicious.
It is not up to my expectation.
The bun was too soft. The cheese make it feel so soft and because of it I don't feel comfortable to eat with my hand.
Wanted to try the Peanut Butter Bacon and the Zombies Bun, as it was highly recommended by others, but too bad it was beef patty and I can't eat beef.
Hope they will create the chicken version of both this burgers.
But I'm satisfy with the fries, drinks, and atmosphere. and the burgers was filling.

Tea time at Dreamz Bakery, The Strand Kota Damansara

Wednesday, May 15, 2013

Tea time at Dreamz Bakery, The Strand Kota Damansara.
It is located at the same row as Burger Junkyard but its a bit futher down.

The environment there was quiet. I'm not so sure is it always like that. I went there on Friday evening with my sister.
But it is a suitable place for the youngster's gathering tho.
Just one thing I'm not satisfy is there seem like no menu for us to look at. I'm not sure is it its how this shop work like, but I don't like not having menu to look at because I don't know what other desserts they offer other than the one they display.
Plus, it's quite pricey. I order a slice of crepes, creme brûlée, a box of Almond cookie and a set of macaroons which consists of six pieces, it cost me around RM50++

Anyhow, it's self service here.
You just need to order the things you want at the cashier,  pay at the cashier and tell them your table number.
The staff there will send the desserts to your table.

This is our order. Just a simple one.
Dark Choco Layer for RM9.90 for a slice.
The nicest crepes I tasted so far.
Creme Brûlée for RM6.90
Too small serving.
I love this section the most. It reminds me of memories.
Papers are available there. You can jot down some caption and hang it on the wall.
I even bought some desserts back for my family :)
Hello Kitty Almond Cookies for RM9.90
And mix macaroons for RM 22.
The macaroons flavours are : Lemon+Strawberry, Mint+Blueberry, Mocha+Rum,
Green Tea+Wasabi, White Choco+Mango, Hazelnut+Orange.
But frankly saying, the macaroons are not so nice.

Häagen - Dazs

Tuesday, May 14, 2013
Had Häagen-Dazs dessert with the family at One Utama that day.
Since mum had some UOB points, I asked her to redeemed it for a RM50 Häagen - Dazs cash voucher.

We order a Chocolate Fondue which cost RM66.
The fondue can feed up from 2-4 people depending on the chocolate intake of individual.
The environment there is not that cooling. I wonder is It all ice cream shops are like that or what.
Anyway the total cost for just a fondue is RM76++ including the tax.

I'll try to update more on my blog.
