Rendezvous Steak Garden @ Kampung Pandan

Saturday, April 25, 2015
Decided to blog about this place since I couldn't find a more updated blog regarding the price of the foods & drinks.
But first, forgive my photo quality as I was in a rush to blog.

So, here's a quick look of the place. (Didn't really walk around because it was my dad's birthday)

The seats on the right side
The seats at the left side nearby the entrance
Basically I would say that this steak garden is very spacious. Wouldn't need to worry about not having place to sit (So far I haven't encounter such problem)
What I took was just a part of it. You may refer to other blogger's for their environment shots as there isn't much changes about the place.

What we ordered.
Here is the famous Escargot that people have been saying about.
Price at RM15.80 for 1/2 Dozen (6 Pieces)
Sizzling Black Pepper Chicken at RM 17.80
Fish & Chip at RM 14.80
Fruit Juice Large size at RM 12.80/RM13.80. (There's also a smaller size of juice at RM8.80).
Fondue Cheese Chicken RM 18.80
Sizzling Chicken Combo at RM 20.80

My honest review, overall everything of the food is okay. But the Fish and Chip portion was kinda small?
And also, I don't really like the cheese (Note: I'm a cheese lover), It taste quite salty for me.
But my sister and mum likes it. So different people has difference preference.

Service wasn't that bad, unlike stated in Facebook.
It's just that because the place is spacious, you need some patience to call the waiter/waitress to your table.
No service charge was implemented here. Just GST at 6%.
You may use credit card only if you overall bill exceed RM50.

The steak house is just beside Caffeinees, which is the shop before you turn in to Caffeinees.
Parking is free, and there's lot of parking lot.
Just be aware of which turning as you might missed out the entrance.

Ecole P, Damansara Uptown

Friday, April 17, 2015
It's my second time visiting Ecole P @ Damansara Uptown.
To be honest, I don't really like it during my first visit last year (2014)
However I decided to drop by because I heard that they've change the menu somewhere mid of 2014 and improved (that's what my friends says).

The thing that attracted me into this place was because of the well-played school theme, which helps reminisce the old sweet time when all of us are still in school.

View from the inside of the cafe (with 4 tables)

There's also candy/junk food selling at this section.
Not those typical stuff you can find at this era.

This is the drink menu with lots of unique names.
Use to be inconvenient for us because we got to stand at the counter looking at this to order our drink.
But now they provide us with drink menu. YEAH!

For those who smokes, and prefer natural lighting (for Instagram purpose) fret not there's an outdoor sitting.
This is how it look like from the outside, (with tables and chair of course)

So, I was sitting inside because it was hot today.
The lighting wasn't that good (Forgive me for the photo quality, tried to edit but still sigh). There was this table which is right beside the window but was taken by someone else.

These notebooks are the food and drink menu.
Utensil is inside a pencil case which is hidden in a bag (which is located by the side of the table)
Cold drinks are served in this.
While coffees will be served like those typical kopitiam coffee cup.
My typical Instagram shot (Follow me @michellectting)
Customers will also be given complimentary old school snacks, which we almost eat finish.
Baked Egg (RM 14.90)
This baked egg taste different than the usual typical ones.
There was chicken/pork  (not sure) in it, plus there's also century egg.
Fruit Ninja (RM 14.90)
The Egg Waffle with Kapati vanilla ice cream, strawberry sauce and fruits of green apple, orange and strawberry.
It's quite soggy for me, might be due to the sauce

Overall, it could say that the food is okay. Way better than my first visit.
Food price wise is also affordable, price range not more than RM 14.90 if I'm not wrong.
Plus there's also lunch set menu.
Service charge of 5%.
Parking might be hectic if you choose to park beside the roads. Try parking at the new basement parking, price at RM 1 at first hour, RM 1.50 at every subsequent hour which I find it cheaper than other Uptown parking building.

Petit Noms, Empire Damansara (Closed)

Friday, June 27, 2014
This is a list of Empire Damansara shop which I remembered.
1. Boat Noodles.
2. Seven Cups.
3. Burger Junkyard.
4. Pot and Kettle.
5. Jekyllandhyde19
6. Brewtime.
7. Epique
8. Porcelene Bar
9. Bravo and Texas Chicken

Because there has not been many blogger blogging about this cafe, so I've decided to blog about it.

Located at the second floor, its Petit Noms.

They offered two type of menu, brunch and dinner.

And they also offer high tea set which cost RM45.90 and is available for WHOLE DAY !

So since I drop by during afternoon, I'm fortunate enough to try their brunch menu.
On my opinion for being a student, the price was really affordable. As long as it does not cost more than RM20, I'm more than satisfied.

However, the only Cons they're currently having is THEY DON'T SERVE COFFEE YET.
The waiter told me that they're currently practising on it.
So for coffee lovers, you gonna wait a little longer until they expertise on it okay? :)

D'Big Brekkie at RM18.
Scramble Eggs, Beans, Chicken Sausages, Bacon, Butter and Bread.
Chicken sausages taste different like it was a mixture with beef? I'm not sure, but well very unique taste.

Egg Benedict RM15.90
Look less appetizing as it look oily from my opinion.
But I believe they will improved since they're still new :)

Another cons on their food is, I wish they have option to change beef to other meat.
Not everybody eat beef.

Afraid not dessert lovers, they offer dessert too!
Cost from RM3.90 onwards.

And of course for I myself am a dessert lover, I'll never miss out one either.
My choice of Chocolate Mousse RM7.90
It was nice and very chocolaty for a chocolate lover like me.

And while I was eating, one of the boss came to me and gave us two cups of Green Tea latte.
He said it was for sampling. Because they're still in practise and wondering to put or not to put Green Tea latte into their coffee list in the future.
And it's really my honour to be the tester. Thank you !!:)

What do I think ?
Taste not bad. At least it wasn't so milky like the one I tasted somewhere else.

There's a mini corridor in Petit Noms which look like a garden.
I wish it was bigger. Somehow thought of taking coffee shots there but unfortunately no coffee today.

Overall, I think the place is nice. Service is good, and friendly.
The waiter do help recommending which is their best seller or dessert and ask for our opinion on food.
Environment is good too with nice music.
Food is okay not too bad. Wouldn't mind for second visit. Price is affordable.
However the only problem is the location wasn't that strategic. It was located at second floor which I feel its really scary to climb up the stairs.
Empire Damansara stairs seems shaky D:

Photo Crafts @ Kota Damansara (Closed)

Friday, October 4, 2013
Recently, I had heard a lot about Photo Crafts from people around me.
It is a unique shop which has two floor, with one floor is a cafe and the other floor is the photography section which sell analogues camera, films, and other accessories.
But I'd heard that it's just recently that they've decided to open up the cafe in the shop.
Previously had the intention to visit it shop, and finally I've drop a visit there today for lunch.
Trust me, you will definitely love the environment there ! :)

The attracting stairway to the cafe.
So, this is their first floor.

If you own a Analogue Camera, then Thursday will be your lucky day !
Because, it's Photo Crafts Analogue Coffee Kaw Kaw Day.
Just bring your Analogue Camera and visit the shop from 5pm-10pm and you'll get free flow coffee at RM9.90 ! Good deal isn't ? :)

Iced Cappuccino @ RM8.90
Strong cappuccino they have, do ask for Sugar Syrup if you can't take the strongness.
Hot Mocha @ RM8.90.
They even give the biscuit in camera form ! :)
But it taste more like chocolate than a real Mocha.
Tomyam Seafood Fettucine @ RM 16.90
I know it stated there seafood, but because they're out of prawns so they replace tit with more mussels.
It's an Italian mix Asian cuisine. Definitely a must to try it !
Smoked Salmon Carbonara @ RM12.90.
The carbonara taste is just right for me, not too cheesy, not to filling.
and even the smoke salmon taste fresh.
DIY breakfast @ RM15.90
You can choose from Scramble Eggs or Fried Egg, and Chicken Ham, Beef bacon, or Chicken Sausage, and Mushrooms or Bakes Beans.
120 Chicken Burger @ RM16.90.
Among the four food that I've order, this came the last which I don't know why it took so long.
But I saw the owner/waitress really passionate to decorate the burger accordingly.
And yesh this taste superb ! The mash potato is yum yum :9
Worth it because it not only taste nice, it make me super full as well !
* For your information, I came with three other people so yeah, it's not me eating everything of it.

After eating, we went up to the second floor to have a look.

Don't you love it here ? :)
And there's this boxes of props to play with up here.
3 boxes, with three different faces on the different surface.
I've seen many people play with it, so why not have a try ?

(I only post these photos as it is not showing their faces, so yeah ~)

If you like a place to chill with, or to do your assignment in a quite environment, why not visit here ?
The services is not bad, and they don't charge any service charge or government tax.
Price is reasonable as well ranged from RM5-RM20, and they have outdoor seating for smokers as well.
